Food Fight!?!?

So last night for dessert we had some jello with whipped topping. Hailey helped me make the topping which she thought was so COOL. I got Brenden a little on the nose and so he thought it would be ok to fight back. I don't know where he got that crazy idea from. Then Hailey joined the crazy fun...if that is what you want to call it. Then the phone rang...and I remembered that I had to go help someone in our ward. So I tried to get the whipped topping out of my hair and changed. I believe my shirt is ruined. I left Jason to clean up the mess. It was everywhere. Seriously Hailey just started throwing the stuff. I am glad it is over!!

Roadtrip....

On the 17th of this month we headed to Heber. My sister Shana was getting married. She looked absolutly amazing. Just stunning. Jason stayed until Sunday and then had to come home for school and work. Poor guy. The kids and I stayed the whole week. Some of our highlights were....bowling, driving the race cars,Dairy Queen, shopping for school clothes with Grandma(who never seems to say no), riding the 4 wheelers, and building a clubhouse. We had so much fun, it was a perfect way to end our summer. It maybe topped 80 degrees when we were there. I did not want to come home to the heat. I left my camera home so no pictures of all our fun. I will post pictures of the kids clubhouse. They worked really hard. It is turning out really neat. Thanks to Papa Ray for letting us use all of his scrap wood and tools. He even showed me how to use is skill saw, which was scary fun. Hailey and Rylie made flower boxes and a sign. Brenden did most of the nailing. They are just thrilled about it. Then on Thursday Jason came back and picked us up and we headed to the Seymore Family Reunion by Big Lake. It has been a couple of years since we had been to that famous camping spot and I had forgot how beautiful it really is. There a lots of fun pictures.

Four super fantastic campers!!

We love to go to the swimming hole and rope swing. There are probably more than one but we like this one. The kids get filthy, and the water is freezing, and the rope swing is pretty dangerous but we have fun memoires of this every year.

Brenden trying the rope swing...he landed too short and hurt his leg. So Hailey helped him back across the river.

Bubba G and his Papa

My super strong husband giving Hailey a ride on the rope swing! I wasn't sure it would hold them...who knows how long it has been there.

Kenzie showing me her dirty bottom...wonder if she knows she sporting some crack too?

Every year Grandma loves to take us to the Lollipop Shop in Alpine. It is not too far from our camp and the kids love it. They have the best homemade fudge! They are also the only place that we can find these giant jawbreakers. This was Kenzie's first time there. I think she is in love...

Rylie was so KIND to share her giant jawbreaker with Handsome MR. Stetson.

I made Brenden stop to take this after he had been gone hunting with his bb gun....he goes non stop when we are outdoors!

My girls had so much fun with Presley. Isn't she just so adorable?

On the way home....two sleepy kids. I thought it was so sweet that Kenzie had Brendens hand. Oh, and for those who know about our car sick problems...it was Rylie who ended up using the bag this time!

We can't wait until next year!

First Day of School...

As promised to Grandma Patti....
Brenden starting the 4TH Grade

Hailey starting the 2ND grade

This morning was kinda crazy but it all worked out. A big thanks to my friend Nicole for taking Hailey to school for me. Since Brenden was going to a new school I wanted to take him myself. We missed meet the teacher since we were out of town and I wanted to make sure he knew where he was going. It was a good thing because this new school is pretty big and even with a map it was hard to find his class. I still can't believe that the summer is OVER. It went by way to fast!

Kenzie's Birthday

As I mentioned Kenzie has turned three. It has come and gone...and she still continues to grow. I am still not ready, but I guess that I have to accept it. We went swimming as a family and then we had a little party for her. Papa Ray and Grandma Patti came all the way here just to have cake and of course bring her a gift. She was thrilled that they brought her a swing...just like the one that she loves at their house. She also got some new Barbie stuff. She is my only girl who loves these. Hailey and Rylie will play with them, but have never asked us to get one. Makenzie loves pretend play like doll houses, little people and of course Barbies! A big thanks to Dustin and Lindsey for taking the time from moving to come and celebrate with us! My niece Johnna was here too!

The Party

The cake...all she wanted was a purple flower cake. I am no Cake Boss...but I tried. Can you tell where she put her fingers in it before we started??

Here are some of my favorite pictures of my BABY...now that I am in tears!

Happy Birthday Kenzie...we love you! Even when you are a mess.....

My Baby...

I has been a tough week. My baby turned three. I really do not want to talk about it. Here she is...sound asleep, the night before the big day. I seriously am not ready for her to grow up...not yet!

Fourth of July

We always have a great time in Heber for the 4th. You would never know how small the town is with how many people are there for this celebration. This year it was totally crazy! I have never seen that many people there...ever. We also got to bring my niece, Johnna....we were excited that she could come with our family. Our day Saturday started out with the parade. For some reason my kids love this. Then we had a family BBQ. Jason had been working on some pulled pork since about 3am! It was fantastic.

Then we went down to the football field to hang out and wait for the fireworks(which were awesome). We also got to visit with tons of friends and family.
Kenzie giving me her best funny mad face.

Light up mouth pieces...who thinks of this stuff?

Rylie and Kenzie had so much fun on the slip-n-slide. All the other kids were too cold. The weather was perfect when we were there.

Sunday night we made smores. I love this one of Rylie trying to get her Papa to eat hers.

Jason decided to wake Brenden up with some shaving cream. Poor Kid...

We can't wait until next year!!
