Weekend at Papa and Grandma's

This past weekend we went to Heber. Dustin and Lindsey were sealed in the Snowflake temple. It was awesome. I am so happy for them. Congrats to the both of you! After the sealing we went into Showlow to visit with Nan. While we were there she showed Brenden an army uniform that belonged to Pops. Brenden just loved Pops(who passed away about 18 months ago). So he was just thrilled to get the chance to try on this uniform. It looked brand new! A great lesson for Brenden on how to take care of your things.


Hailey's birthday was on Sunday! So happy 7th birthday sweetie! We had a little family dinner...spaghetti(one of her favorites)and Grandma let her pick out a cake. We are having a friend party on Wednesday so I will post more about my sweet girl then.And yes those are matches on the cake...we forgot to get candles. She did not mind one bit!



I think she had a pretty great day. She said it was the worst ever. She woke up throwing up and felt sick most the day. Except after she opened some presents which seemed to help. Then she got a huge splinter in her foot. She said "could this day get any worse". On our way home she felt better and was in a much better mood..planning what to do with her birthday money.

We did get some family pictures taken. A great big thanks to Tiff for taking them. I am hoping they turned out OK...first, it was freezing and also Kenzie was up the night before throwing up and she was not in a good mood. It is always something on picture day huh??? Brenden had a blast as usual...he loves all the freedom he had up there, but do you think he could get any more dirty!
