Rylie said she was sorry but she wanted me to see...I told her next time just to come and get me. She said ok. Also....Kenzie thinks that since it is starting to cool off she needs her jacket on. I gave up trying to explain to her that it is still 100 degrees out and she really does not need it. However shorts would be nice.

Kenzie's escape plan....
Rylie wanted to show me "Kenzie's escape plan"...so she borrowed my camera (which she is not allowed to touch) and got some proof.

Busy...busy
It seems like since school started we have been pretty busy. I keep thinking it is going to slow down. It won't but I just keep thinking it anyways! Saturday Hailey had her first soccer game of the season...

Which made this little one pretty sleepy...

And speaking of sleepy...Kenzie was a little sneak and took popcorn on my bed. She also got caught!!

Today we had Stake Conference. Rylie had a hard time sitting for 2 whole hours straight. At the closing song she said...How long can this song be??? In her not so quiet Rylie voice.
Now everyone is being lazy...

I am thankful for Sunday....especially when church starts at 10am and not 8am!!

11 years and counting!!

Saturday morning Jason kissed me as he left in the morning. Just as always. It never fails...even if I don't always remember it happening, I know that it does. This morning is happened to be our anniversary. Our 11th...I found my mind wandering at 5:30am about those 11 years....our story. I felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude. I thought about how young we were when we got married. How many people really thought we were too young...we would never make it. We were young. Really young. It did not matter to us. We have changed and grown so much since then. Grown and changed together. The past years are so full of memoires. Great memories that I would not change for anything. I feel so lucky because I am lucky. I am very much looking forward to the rest of our story.

We Believe...
I stood outside my little girls room and I heard Rylie tell Kenzie...this is an article of faith: say it with me.. We believe in the holy ghost, missionaries, and to pray. I thought it was so sweet and funny. Even though it is not an actual Article of Faith...she did get what we belive in right. Pretty smart for a 4 year old!

Brenden Earns his Wolf Badge
This last week Brenden earned his wolf badge. Well, actually he finished it before his birthday in May but because of the summer he just got it. They put his badge on a plate and had me put whipped cream all over it. He had to try and get it with his mouth without touching with his hands. He loved every second of it! He also earned a whole bag of awards from camp. Way to go Brenden, we are so proud of you.

A big thanks to Whitny for taking the pictures and sending them to me!!

2 of the same
Kenzie wants to be just like her Daddy.
Jason wears these long red socks when we play softball. When we told the kids to get there shoes and socks on we found Kenzie putting her long pink socks on. Jason asked her why she was going to wear those...she said "to be like you, Daddy." He was proud. She looked adorable.

I felt that way too...
I picked Brenden up from school early today because he was not feeling well. On the way home in the car he laid his seat back and said he wanted to take a nap. Then he said Mom, do you know what would really make me feel better?? To have Grandma Dot scratch my back as a fall asleep. I remember feeling that way about Grandma. She would always scratch my back when I would go visit her and we would aways watch Wheel of Fortune. It seems like not long ago when I was such a little girl who would love to visit her. Sometimes now I notice how old her hands are getting. Funny to me how much I love her hands and her pearl nail polish. I am so glad that Brenden has that love too.
