So today I am running around like a crazy woman trying to get ready for our trip to Rocky Point. I finally get a chance to use the bathroom and this is what I found waiting for me! Leave it to Hailey to leave a sweet note in a place like this.

BAd DrEaMs!!!

Have you ever had one of those dreams that are so dang real? Last night I did. I woke up crying at 5:30am and I was scared to death....I am not one of those people that put much thought to my dreams. I do not analyze them and I do not wonder why I was dreaming that. This just seemed so REAL. Hailey has nightmares all the time and we when she wakes us up we have her sleep on the floor of our room. I feel SO badly for her. She is always telling me how they seem so real. I have had dreams like this before but it has been awhile so I guess I forgot how scary they can be. I will now be more patient with her. I can say that I was really thankful that mine was just a dream. Funny how something like that can quickly put things into perspective. Have I mentioned how much I love my family?!?

We miss you, Brenden!

Brenden went home with Grandma Patti on Saturday and is coming home Thursday for our trip to Mexico. We wanted him to know how much we love and miss him so this post is for HIM!
The girls colored these signs for you! The sign they are holding is the one that they colored all by themselves.

Happy Happy Birthday Grandma Patti!!!

So this is a few days past due but we wanted to wish Grandma a Happy Birthday! She is a perfect mother and grandmother and we are all truly blessed to have her in our lives. I love her like a mom and she is one of my best friends. She is the most loyal person that I know. I can't wait until our trip to Mexico in a couple of weeks so we can all be together. I thought it would be fun to have my kids give their top three reasons why they love her, these are word for word what they said.
Brenden: 1)She buys us everything we want. 2)She loves us. 3)She gave me Dufas and wouldn't let Papa give him away.
Hailey: 1)I love her cause she takes us for a ride on a four wheeler. 2)She lets us swim in her pool. 3)She is nice to me and makes me feel happy.
Rylie: 1)She takes me to get ice cream cones. 2)She gives me kisses. 3) She makes my heart feel super happy.

True Soccer MOM...

It's official I am a true Soccer MOM. When we bought the suburban I felt like a True MORMOM mom...but this week I am totally feeling like a true soccer mom. Our week at a glance went like this....2 baseball games, 1 baseball practice, 1 soccer game, 1 soccer practice, 1 dance class, and 1 afternoon of scouts, a primary party and a birthday party!Oh, and we did somehow squeeze in FHE, which Brenden gave an awesome lesson on Baptism. Pretty much I am on the go getting kids from here to there everynight of the week. If is sounds like I am complaining I am not...I really love it. I am so grateful that I get to go to all of my kids activities. I would not have it any other way. So here are some pictures that we snapped along the way!


Here is my fun loving kid...I love to watch him play baseball.


Hailey played an awesome first game...she scored 4 out of the 5 goals for her team. She is quiet aggressive and a little bit of a ball hog, but they have not learned to pass yet. I was really proud of her!


Rylie all smiles at the soccer game, even though she really was miserably HOT! Is it gonna start cooling down soon??? I hope so.


She had so much fun..but she thinks her shin guards make her look fat..isn't that crazy. I swear I am gonna have problems with this girl if this continues.

This is how Kenzie walks everywhere she goes now. She does not like holding my hand...she is SO independent, so she holds her own hand so that I can't hold it.

Ten Whole Years...

Last Friday Jason and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary! A little pat on the back for us. It really is crazy how time has flown by. I really am greatful for Jason. He is the best husband and father. He is so giving. He is always working so hard for our family. His needs always come last but to him it is his job to put me and the kids first. There are so many things that I love about him...but simply put I love that we can grow and change together. He means the world to me and I can't imagine a day without him.

Can I have that new baby doll?

So here is mine and Hailey's conversation last night before bed...
Hailey: Mom can I have that new baby doll?
Mom: What new baby doll? (as is she does not have enough babies)
Hailey: You know the one on the tv that can pee?
Mom: We will see...
Hailey: Please mom it has a real vagina that makes her pee so you can change her diaper.

Jason and I both tried SO hard not to laugh. She sure can come up with some crazy things.
