Bull...

Anyone seen The Pacifier??? At our house it is a big hit...my kids are famous for reciting lines of movies. So Rylie a little worked up(nothing new) and mad at Hailey turns to her and says "You mess with the Bull...you get the quarter" it took me a second. The quote actually is.. You mess with the Bull, you will get the horns. We were all laughing which Rylie loved. She informed us that she likes it her way, it is much more funny.

Go Wranglers!!

Hailey is on the running team at school. She has ran in two races. They run about a mile and a half. The first race she was so tired that she came to me about 50 yards from the finish line crying. Her legs hurt and she thought that she was not doing well in the race. After a very dramatic meltdown for all to see she and I walked across. She finished 77 out all the girls. We went home and did not wait for the winners to be announced. A friend called and told us that Hailey had actually placed 5th and would be getting a ribbon. She felt much better. Here is her first ribbon...

Today she ran and finished strong. She was really excited to see how she could do without stopping. She finished 47 out of all the girls. There are hundreds of kids that run and we are very proud of her for not giving up. She ended up taking 5th place again out of all the first grade girls. Way to go Hailey!

Definitions by Rylie

Rylie comes to me today and tells me all about her Tush. I asked her where she learned that word. She told me she donno. So I asked her what it meant. She went on to explain it like this. Mom...you know, it is like your bum, bottom, tushie, butt, behind or WHOOPIE CUSHION. I had to laugh, who knew there were so many names for your back side. At least she missed the not so nice versions. Got to love three year olds. Right????

Happy Birthday Hailey!!!

As promised...Happy birthday Hailey! We had a good time at her party. We played lots of games and almost all her friends were here. She got a lot of fun things and lots of makeup!! Thanks to all that came and helped her celebrate. Some of my favorite things about Hailey:
She is a really good big sister! She truley loves these little girls.
She is really organized...don't know where she got that from??
She is all girl...she loves jewlery, money, crafts, reading and SHOPPING!
She loves clothes, makeup, and purses.
She has a crush on a boy at school, but I will not name names...
And did I mention that she is all drama all the time right now..this is a new thing!(must be the age)
She has a very sweet testimony and loves to go to primary.
I love our date nights with just us....which we will be doing this weekend, so she can spend her bday money. It will be long but FUN...
She is very competitive...she loves soccer and running club, and loves when she can beat Brenden at anything!!
Here is some of my favoite picutres of my baby girl..who is growing way to fast!!!

Sleeping Beautys and BIG messes!

So here is how we found Kenzie asleep two nights ago..under the piano!

And Hailey asleep with her mask on...

And I couldn't resist my little red head.

I could not get one of Brenden because he was still awake..reading of course.
Then last night I went to kiss the kids when they were sleeping...I found that Miss Kenzie must have played a while. And she must have found a RED marker!! I cleaned up her artistry in the hall way but somehow I missed her room!

This morning she would not even come in and get me...Brenden was assuring her that it would be OK and he would come with her to tell me what she did. Am I that scary???

One small sweet thing. Today I took my girls to get some shots. They needed to catch up. Rylie only needed one, so she went first. When Kenzie saw what was going to happen to her, she would not even let me take off her jacket. After three of us holding her tight, we were ready. I looked over at Rylie...she was so upset. I asked her if she was OK and she said she hurts when Kenzie hurts. It is true. You could see her shake with every poke. When we were all done. Kenzie ran to her and they just squeezed each other. Everyone was in tears...as Rylie told Kenzie it was all over and she would make her feel better. I love these little girls.

Weekend at Papa and Grandma's

This past weekend we went to Heber. Dustin and Lindsey were sealed in the Snowflake temple. It was awesome. I am so happy for them. Congrats to the both of you! After the sealing we went into Showlow to visit with Nan. While we were there she showed Brenden an army uniform that belonged to Pops. Brenden just loved Pops(who passed away about 18 months ago). So he was just thrilled to get the chance to try on this uniform. It looked brand new! A great lesson for Brenden on how to take care of your things.

Hailey's birthday was on Sunday! So happy 7th birthday sweetie! We had a little family dinner...spaghetti(one of her favorites)and Grandma let her pick out a cake. We are having a friend party on Wednesday so I will post more about my sweet girl then. And yes those are matches on the cake...we forgot to get candles. She did not mind one bit!

I think she had a pretty great day. She said it was the worst ever. She woke up throwing up and felt sick most the day. Except after she opened some presents which seemed to help. Then she got a huge splinter in her foot. She said "could this day get any worse". On our way home she felt better and was in a much better mood..planning what to do with her birthday money.

We did get some family pictures taken. A great big thanks to Tiff for taking them. I am hoping they turned out OK...first, it was freezing and also Kenzie was up the night before throwing up and she was not in a good mood. It is always something on picture day huh??? Brenden had a blast as usual...he loves all the freedom he had up there, but do you think he could get any more dirty!

These two were completely zonked out on the way home.....

And these two were completely NOT!! The story of our life.

Eyelash Wishes!

Today Rylie had an eyelash in her eye. I got it out easily but I forgot to let her blow it off my finger and make a wish. I told her if she hurried she could still make her wish. So she quickly closed her little brown eyes and shouted out " I wish that I could see grandma everyday!!!" For those of you that do not know Jason's mom...her and Rylie are like twins. I thought it was very sweet considering this was a wish and she could have anything in the whole world.

She also said to me...Watch out Mom, Hailey has gas...like clear the room gas!(A big thanks to Alvin and the Chipmunks)
